COME HEAR MWA-NY AUTHORS READ FROM THEIR NEWEST WORKS!

Seven local authors will read from their latest books,
starting at noon on Saturday November 2, in the 58th
Street Library, 127 East 58th St.
Tom Coffey will read from Public Morals, the first novel of
his new trilogy that examines the arc of law enforcement in
New York from the 1980s to the present.
Mariah Fredericks will read from her new locked-room
mystery set in 1920 New York and involving Zelda
Fitzgerald.
Penelope Karageorge will read from Lovers and Other
Killers, in which a journalist, suspected of murder, seeks a
fiendishly twisted and brilliant killer.
David Bushman will read from the true crime book he’s
currently working on, about an unsolved 2022 murder,
tentatively titled Murder on Black Friday.
Theresa Varela will read from Murder in Red Hook: a tale
of mishaps and treachery in Brooklyn.
Carole Bugge will read from Cleopatra’s Dagger, which
was nominated for an Edgar Award for Best Original
Paperback.
Jeffrey Markowiz will read from The Other, a novel that
asks the question, What would you do to protect your
family when the Nazis come to town?
