Previously an adjunct professor of journalism at Hofstra University, Christal also served as a contributing editor at BlogHer.com. As a Brooklyn native with a passion for puzzles, it’s no surprise she enjoys putting together the pieces of a good mystery. Christal is an avid tennis fan, loves to travel, and her obsession with The Great British Baking Show gave rise to her appetite for baking.
