Gideon Rimes is a Black Iraq war vet who works as a private investigator in Buffalo, New York, the Nickel City. His first two appearances—”Nickel City Blues” (2017) and “Nickel City Crossfire” (2019)—are being reissued by SEG Publishing on March 1 and April 1, respectively. The third Rimes mystery, “Nickel City Storm Warning,” will be released May 1. Author Gary Earl Ross is on the board of the New York chapter of Mystery Writers of America.
