On May 11 three mystery writers shared sections of their novels at an event held by the NY chapter of MWA. Attendees at the 58th Street library in New York enjoyed hearing the excerpts and connecting with the writers afterward.
The May 11 authors all read stories in the first person. Cathi Stoler was the international gambler in her Nick of Time and Out of Time
series. Gary Cahill wore the persona of an Irish-American gangster tasked with carrying out an execution. And Samantha (Elle) became the
cozy-fantasy heroine on a quest in her series Alchemical Tales.
The next Manhattan Mystery Reading will be Saturday June 15, starting at noon at the 58th Street Library, 127 East 58 St.
